I’m not sure why I got recommended this as I am not from Mississippi, but I know a little about this whole thing. This is a step in the right direction, but I’m guessing it won’t go as smoothly as this little promo video says it will. The environmental damage will probably be quite severe and the pumps will end up hurting low-income communities. Any project that is backed by Big Agriculture will end up hurting Mother Nature and small time farmers. I’m siding with the environmental groups on this one.

I've been to Gautier, Mississippi. Nice little town, and the fun you can have there is unlimited (within reason, of course) As for Cindy Hyde-Smith, if she wants to win the 2018 US Senate race, she do well to keep her mouth shut. But even for that, it just might be too late. I'm typing this comment during the early morning hours of November 27th, 2018 @ about 2 : 20 AM Eastern Time, the day of the runoff election. Personally, I don't think she'll win, but stranger things have happened for sure. After all, this IS Mississippi we're talking about. Mississippians really do care very deeply about their politics, which is why as an "out of state yankee" I keep my opinions to myself. I love this milk. I wish people would try it side by side with regular milk. They would never drink regular milk again. It is worth every extra cent that it costs. Regular milk nowadays will stay good over 2 weeks. That is not normal. What are the preservatives, I wonder?? I cook with regular but we drink Country Girl. I drive 20 miles just for milk. It's delivered on Wed. and if you are not there by Thurs. afternoon, they are sold out. It is the only milk that tastes good just chilled a little instead of ice cold like regular milk, to me. Right now regular storebrand milk is so cheaply priced it makes me wonder why. Regular milk dropped from $5 a gallon to about $3 a gallon for over a year now. This milk is still priced like milk was almost 2 years ago.

We love this milk. This is the only milk my 2 year old daughter will drink from a cup. Can't wait to try their other products.

What happens to the outer (non-core) part of the crop? Presumably it can be burnt to provide power for the processing plant.

My husband picked up a 1/2 Gal. of "Country Girl's Milk", we had never seen this label before. After tasting this milk we could not get enough. My Grandson who is not a big milk drinker drank 2 full glasses. It has the taste of European Milk. It is absolutely delicious. NOW. Where can I purchase the milk, cheese & butter? We live in Picayune, MS. Thank you for a delicious milk.
